Pizza Casserole

This recipe came from a church cookbook, and looked yummy so I gave it a try. It was delicious, very easy, and went over well with the whole family. Plus, it makes a lot and is budget friendly.  It’s not terribly nutritious, but you could could certainly make it more so if you choose.

Ingredients:

2 pkgs. macaroni and cheese
1 26 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. (2 cups) cheese
*I used pizza cheese, but it called for mozzarella

Directions:

Brown beef and drain.  Add spaghetti sauce and simmer. Prepare macaroni and cheese acc. to the package directions.  Grease a 9x13 pan and spread macaroni and cheese on bottom.  Spread meat sauce mixture over top.  Sprinkle cheese over all.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and allow to sit for 10 minutes before eating. Enjoy!
